My Story
More than 20 years of fitness
I have been training and competing in sports my entire life, and I have always valued health and fitness as a cornerstone.
I have an eclectic mix of professional and life experiences that have shaped me into who I am today, and that have informed the bespoke offering I provide my clients.
Where it all began
When I was 16, I started an apprenticeship as a chef at a seafood restaurant in Wollongong. When I completed it, I realised how much I wanted to learn about health and fitness so I enrolled in a Personal Trainer certification and continued working as a chef to fund my way through my studies. I then started my own Personal Training business and coached clients out of the local surf club gym in North Wollongong and Fitness First (Wollongong). The experience I gained as a chef was not wasted – if fact, I found it equipped me with a wealth of knowledge that I could share with my clientele.
In 2006 I made the move to Sydney which opened the doors to bigger opportunities with Fitness First. I moved into management and mentorship roles in which I gained experience in running fitness and nutritional workshops with the public, lectured Australia’s largest Fitness expo FILEX, and wrote numerous articles for Fitness First magazine.
My focus now is mixing everything I've learnt over the years to helping busy profesionals that have been too busy and let their health and fitness slowly slip away from them.
Alsmost all of my clients have been meaning to refocus some energy back on their health and get themselves out of a rut of low energy and just feeling stiff and tight and no time to do anything.
Once they had an achievable action plan for their busy lives did they realise the programs actually made their lives easier.
This for me is so rewarding and gets me out of bed in the morning seeing my clients with a spark in their eye, a skip in their step and some energy to actually do what they want to do.

ACHIEVEMENTS
I love participating in sports and exercise, and I don’t limit myself to the gym. I surf, ski, bodyboard, row, compete in Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai, and I also participate in basketball, baseball, soccer.
My proudest moments:
- Representing Australia for downhill skiing in
Colorado when I was only 15 years old
- Competing in the Australian tour for
bodyboarding
- Competing at a national level for Judo
- Winning state and national titles and 3rd in the
world cup in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
- Achieving 12 wins out of 13 fights in MMA
and won state and national titles, and being
selected for the Australian team
- Competing in 18 Muay Thai fights and
winning a state title
- I have also been a business coach for more
than 50 other trainers helping them hit their
financial goals for their business
Above all else though, my greatest achievement is raising my little family. I have an amazing wife and a beautiful, healthy young boy named Lachlan.
